Love how this story jumps right into a suspenseful life-or-death situation. Charisse Carrington is a traffic reporter. During a routine morning helicopter flight everything goes terribly wrong. Unable to save herself, Charisse telepathically reaches out to a past colleague and mentally pleads for his help.
Mark Seymour is a cop, who was injured in the line-of-duty. At the time of his injury, Charisse and he had worked together. She’d warned him of impending danger and he’d ignored her warning. Now the tables were turned and it was Charisse who must fight to take back her life.
Will Charisse push Mark away as he'd done, or will he help Charisse heal and work her way back to walking again? Add to this duo, Simon the Cat, and familiar to Charisse and you have a perfect combination. I highly suggest you read Ethereal Authority, book 2 in the Diva to the Guides. Check out the entire trilogy, you will enjoy them all.
