I'm still confused... I wanted to go back and reread the end. Why?

So good! Did not see that ending coming and definitely a new twist on a haunted house with a ghost tale.

As soon as I read the blurb, I knew this was the kind of book for me, ghostly goings on, suspected suicide and some long lost relatives. I was immediately swept into the plot and I really enjoyed the unusual format of diary entries, voice recordings and articles. I never had a problem following the story and enjoyed the different perspectives. Without giving too much away, once things started slotting into place, with the introduction of characters and the following of clues, I really enjoyed it. I could clearly picture it as a Netflix series. I warmed to both Niamh and A. and especially Help and appreciated the humour woven through the book. Although I feel that the ending was a little rushed and too full of information, I wouldn't hesitate to read another book by Edgar Cantero, in fact, I hope there is a sequel. Overall a solid, supernatural adventure mystery.

What happens if you blend the Da Vinci Code and The Blair Witch Project, and serve it up on a bed of mid-90s pop culture? You get The Supernatural Enhancements, obviously.

This wild ride whips you around unexpected curves, and you have no choice but to laugh out loud or gasp in horror. This is one of the few books I savored like a fine wine. To read it too quickly would have been a dishonor to the story Cantero built.

If anyone needs me, I'll be looking for DJs in Ibiza.

If you're open to a story told entirely through journal entries, newspaper advertisements, and transcribed video and audio recordings, I highly recommend this book! The author deftly blends the narrative into the different documents making for a smooth read. It's all the best parts of a haunted house story with paranormal pseudoscience and a secret society. I couldn't guess the twists and turns, but the clues were all there.

Strange book. It was easier to read than I thought it would be, given the mixed media, although definitely fell off and got worse/ stranger for part 2.

I don't understand why the female prtangonist had to be a minor, given the obvious  sexual undertones, there was no need for that. Weird choice by the author.

I get the idea behind the story but I dont think it was executed well.

This is not a book I will ever pick up again nor recommend to anybody. It was readable enough to finish and that's about it.

This book is absurd, and for the first three quarters of it, the good kind of absurd. It spirals from interesting and page turning, to what?!?!?! The beginning is definitely 4 star quality, and the end about 2, hence my 3 stars overall.
