A mix between The Hunger Games and an amazing easy to read romance novel, this book did not disappoint. I’m hooked already and I can’t wait to start the other books in the series. While the storyline isn’t super deep, I highly recommend this book to those who want an easy, addictive and cute read with a bit of drama mixed in to it.

I really like this one. An easy read with just enough drama and twists. I would compare it to hunger games meets the bachelor minus all of the kids killing each other.

America needs to get jumped or something cause this bitch was so annoying.

ALSO the fact that the contest doesn't end in this book? is dumb? its pretty clear who Maxon is going to choose ☠️ But I will be continuing on with the series for Maxon and Maxon alone.

Bachelor style competition with Hunger Games "reaping" style selection. I was told to give this series a chance by a group of bookish people based on similar series that I enjoyed. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. It has a dash of romance, but I didn't mind it. (I'm not big into romance heavy books.) The ending will make you want to continue with the next book right away, which is what I will be doing.
