casbah's review against another edition
i actually bought a copy of this after i started it for class because i loved the parts i read so much (i got the copy i used for class through my school's interlibrary loan). however, i haven't touched it since, so i am going to call this "never-finished".
the parts i read were excellent, however!! i used it extensively in my final paper for a seminar that studied hamlet. i got an A on the paper, which i largely attribute to using this book's research. so i feel comfortable calling this a good, useful, interesting book.
