This book was okay. It was a little difficult to follow the story with all the jumps back and forth in the timelines, especially in the scenes where Jenna was having flashbacks during present action. Maybe it was because I listened on audiobook and it was easier to follow in a physical book. I guessed the twists and figured out the truth about halfway through. The red herrings were pretty obvious, and the romance was very lackluster. I've only read the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson and, after this book, I worry the rest of his books are predictable and slow. But thie was coauthored so maybe that was the problem. Either way, I was yelling at the characters for missing the obvious.

AMAZING! This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Near the end I couldn’t put it down! One of my favorite James Patterson books and I have read a ton! I was completely shocked by the ending!

(Audiobook) The ending was fast paced, filled with twists, and action! I couldn't wait to hear the ending. I'm going to spoil it mainly so I can always look back at it: Justin was the serial killer and Jenna Rose was the daughter Holden the 6th left behind! Turns out Justin was holding the knife Aiden used to kill Holden the 6th over him and so he was forced to be part of the BB shooting. In the end, Justin went to jail and Noah and Jenna bought a house together. Also Jenna ended up with the Holden millions.

This is a fast paced story with many twists. I actually figured out some details on my own, but enjoyed learning the actual sequence of events through the story.

After reading one of his books last month, I decided to pick up this book after the back cover had me dying to read it! While this book takes place in the Hamptons, it’s a much different story than most that have taken place there. The picturesque town is haunted by a multi-million dollar oceanfront home that sits atop the hill. It’s the house that everyone has heard stories about and it’s one that will surely haunt you page after page. This book tells each chilling story that’s occurred at the house and the ending will leave you stunned! I was finished with this (almost) 500 page book in less than three days.
