The super-cute feel-good sequel to [b:When Red Cried Wolf|38463887|When Red Cried Wolf (Happily Ever Asher, #1)|Nash Summers|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1544181923s/38463887.jpg|60090149]!

Granted, it was a tad bit angstier than book 1, but still absolutely adorable! I love Asher and how positive he is and how he doesn't shy away from doing whatever is needed for love!

Content warnings include: character getting black out drunk, invasion of privacy (that none of the parties involved really mind, but they would never admit that), mentions of overprotective bordering on abusive brothers.

His column is barely mentioned aside from the beginning, and I would have liked to learn more about what exactly he writes there other than hearing about the letters he gets. The two "cases" he takes on in Golden Boy and the Two Bears were kind of in the background this time, especially Cindy's, and I would have liked for them to be more in the foreground - especially how it all ended for the Golden Boy and his Two Bears! (Of course I can imagine how it ended, but, you know, details are nice.)

The over-the-top-ness works absolutely perfectly here and I loved every minute of it, and I can't wait for the next book!

I received an ARC and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Not as strong as the first one, but I'm hoping that's just some sort of middle-book-filler type situation. Also, boo Christopher.

asher frustrates me, you don't like christopher, you are attracted to him, there's a difference!!!. (also, we all knew he was an idiot!!) on the other hand you have this amazing guy, whom you certainly have great chemistry with and you ignore him?!!! tHE ENDING though, i am a mess, can july 2nd come now?!

I think this gave me a cavity but have no fear: this book is utterly worth the dentistry bill. It was just that sort of delicious summer jaunt that makes you simultaneously feel like your whole body has been doused in novocaine and like you drank two liters of your favorite sugary soda. I was overwhelmed by the 'precious factor' of this book and will be patiently begging until the third is released.

huge thank you to the wonderful Pixie Twinkletoes Elf for gifting this lovely treasure to me!

"Morgan," Asher said in a voice he barely recognized as his own.
"Yeah?" He paused. Shifted back to look into Asher's eyes.
"Can you...?"
"Yes." In what Asher would later think was one of the tenderest acts he'd ever seen, Morgan gently reached out and cupped his cheek with the palm of his big hand. "Whatever it is, yes."

THIS BOOK IS SUCH A GEM!!!! i was worried it'd suffer from middle child syndrome (coming back after reading book 3 to confirm that this was by far my favorite of the series), but there was no need to get in a tizzy because everything was ✨pure gold✨.

imagining these two dorks flirt over text and Morgan reluctantly sending a selfie while wearing Asher's beloved (and proportionally tiny lol) shirt had me laughing up a storm! and that ending.... my heart is still bursting with rainbows

Much better than the previous one. Asher is actually way more believable as a person in this one. And the main matchmaking problem was quite interesting ^.^
Waiting for the final one!

Asher Williams is back and as in love with love as ever, as dedicated to romantic wish fulfillment as he’s ever been—the more challenging the entanglements of the heart, the better, as far as Asher is concerned!

But now it’s his own heart that’s getting tied up in knots. And the suspense is delicious, thanks.

All the regular players are back in this chapter of Asher Ever After, as our big-hearted hero dedicates himself to the task of helping an established couple find the courage to tell the Golden Boy on campus that they want to make him their own. A throuple? Piece of cake for Asher the Love Guru. He’ll make it happen…in spite of a couple of minor details that might present a problem. Never fear, though, this is his specialty. He’s got this.

But boy, do things happen along the way that ever-so-slightly wilt the bloom of Asher’s ever-blossoming rose.

Nash Summers scores another win with Golden Boy and the Two Bears. This is feel-good-romance at its most earnest, full of the unabashed joy of finding that special someone, with witty dialogue and fun banter; the perfect afternoon read on a sunny summer day. Or even a cloudy day, because these books are pure concentrated sunshine all on their own. Things have escalated in this installment of the trilogy—did they ever—and it was a nice tease to leave us hanging on. Now, all that remains to be seen is if there will be any sort of fallout afterwards. Come what may, though, I have a feeling Asher’s wish for a forever kind of love of his own is about to come true.

A King in Wonderland drops July 2nd, so there isn’t long to wait for Asher’s Happily Ever After. Thank goodness!
