Something Wilder is SO fun! Filled with love and adventure from the first chapter. The cast of characters is lovable and makes you feel like you’re watching a good adventure from the 80s/90s. These authors have you rooting for Leo and Lilly from the first moment they connect. I loved the way that Christina Lauren always writes main men who are unabashed in their love of the heroine. Not only to they keep you page-turning with the romance, but they also keep your heart racing with the treasure hunt. I loved it all. 10/10 for me.

Truly a really great book that’s getting me out of my years-long reading slump! Good writing, interesting story, good romance. Only thing I didn’t like is

when Terry dies and Nicole hold a knife up to LEOs neck and cuts him, just thought it was unnecessary lol.

The treasure hunt aspect was well researched and written. I would recommend to anyone who likes national treasure hehe

The chemistry between Leo and Lily was lacking and felt bland. I didn't feel any convincing tension or longing considering that they're supposed to be each other's 'the one', even after they reunited, so there's that. I'm a sucker for second chance romances but this just fell flat for me.
This may be for anyone who likes Indiana Jones, or National Treasure with a hint of romance.
