Gorgeous book. Re-read as it’s almost Valentine’s Day - would be a great gift! Beautiful writer and so well-written, you’ll fall in love with this one.

Beautifully written story! This was my December Once Upon a Book Club Book and although it is not my normal genre, it was a lovely read.

I believe it was a solid book, just not my favorite.

I am not one who enjoys romance novels or love stories. I am usually the one rolling my eyes when I read such mushy meant to be together forever garbage. That said, this book pulled me right in and moved quickly in the beginning up until the plane crash. Everything after seemed to slow down and drag a bit. Perhaps this was the intention of the author to emphasize the effect of grief.
At this point it also became very predictable. You know Arie is going to be with Evie. All the side stories of the lovers were also predictable from Lucie and Elijah to Bene and Juanita. It left me slightly... disappointed. Overall, not bad, bit not something I would read again.

I’m still not quite sure what I think the final rating for this book would be but I started it a while ago and just couldn’t get into it. Finally picked it back up today and I really felt things moved a lot faster once Ari and Evie had connected. There was just a really slow beginning before they met. I also wasn’t the biggest fan of some of the interlude parts but I understand the meaning of it all.

Very Love, Actually at the end! And also, I totally called the “Red” twist!

Not your typical romance novel which may be why I liked it so much. There were so many different themes woven into two parallel stories: one focusing on the main characters and one focusing on the song. The author did a superb job balancing the two and then blending it all together beautifully in the end. This could have been very cheesy if not done correctly, instead it felt real and honest.

I got to page 35 and was already crying. I think this book legit changed my life. It made me appreciate the people I have in my life and the time that I have with them. I finished the whole book in like a day and a half.

I received this book through my Once Upon a Book Club box and it was definitely a winner! I thoroughly enjoyed this love story, which was technically two love stories in one book. It was very sad at the beginning but I really enjoyed being able to travel with the song that Diana wrote for Arie through all of the places it went. My only complaint I guess you could call it was that it did get a bit slow at times but it was still a good story all around. I don’t want to give anything away though but I would definitely recommend!
