I read this book back in March and I am just getting to the review due to my children being at home during the shutdown of schools. After each book I read, I send myself an email with my review. With the Winter Black series, I wrote them as vague as possible so I do not give away anything since this series is that good.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series. This is my favorite series I have read this year.

This entry in the series explores how law enforcement handles tracking down a killer who is killing people who have killed and raped. The author did a nice job of portraying the officer's belief in our laws requiring the need to find the killer and the knowledge that he was killing people who should be in prison. I enjoyed this entry in the series. It makes you think about how you would react if you were in this situation. What is justice and what is revenge. The pace was fast. The story was good.
