My hubby and I listened to this on a roadtrip and we both enjoyed it. Cait has a good balance of emotional personal stories and step-by-step lessons. There were parts we both thought she repeated herself and droned a bit. I left contemplating my own choices and low-waste goals and encouraged a few family members to read it.

I felt like this could have been made into a long blog post instead of a whole book. It wasn’t entirely about the shopping ban but also somehow didn’t feel as personal as other memoirs despite talking about very personal experiences. The first and last chapters are the most true to the title.
