i wanna force all the people who were discoursing about the romance in that mcu loki show to read this book. just for shits and giggles <3

but seriously this book sure is. SOMETHING.

On one hand, it features a sincere and heartfelt depiction of exploring your sexuality (written by a gay author) and it's absolutely deserving of Classicâ„¢ status in the history of LGBT science fiction. it also dives deep into some REALLY interesting paradoxes and implications of time travel that were intriguing and thought-provoking to read even 50 years after the book was written.

and on the other hand, it is also an Incredibly Hedonistic book about the most self-absorbed asshole u've ever seen participating in what can best be described as selfcest.

make of that what you will ig!

(like. I personally find it off-putting. but I do respect the author for fully embracing the weirdness of it. big "that's how pro clone-fucking I am" energy from this whole book)
