Two Ghostwalkers fall for each other while hiding their true identities. Jesse is all alpha male and lethal, but he's also sweet, gentle and caring at the same time. Saber is tough, equally deadly, but hides a painful past. Their friends-to-lovers story is very sweet, and a change of pace from previous books. I really liked how their genuine friendship and unconditional support for each other is the foundation of their romance (plus lots of secret pining).

Saber has moments of (valid) insecurity and Jesse does everything to prove his love for her. Their fierce protectiveness for each other is a total highlight, and the steam is a nice balance between sexy and tender (rain scene ftw). The romance and action blend well, and it's super cool when they fight as a team. Really enjoyed the read. CW:
torture, the villain had rather disturbing and sick inner thoughts

It was okay.... though I'm not convinced it was a very strong book to be honest.

2-2.5 heart stopping stars ✨

(see what I did there? No? Okay moving on)

It was solid. I flew through this book and couldn't fault it for that. It's funny I thought this series would be my least favorite because I find myself picky about genetically enhanced characters but it's pretty great 👍 I like the science and how this seems almost believable ( stretching it think worn out elastic)

Anywayyy it was fine.

Onto the next one ☝️

Not much I want to say, except that reading this for the second time, after reading the ones before it, in order...makes the story even better than it was the first time

Loved Jesse and Sabre story. I had really high hopes for this book after I read Nico and Dahlia story.
After being kidnapped tortured in Nico/Dahlia book for information Jesse no longer feels his legs calf down and is confined to a wheelchair.
This in no way diminishes his sexy SEAL persona just gives people the impression he's a easier target which is further from the truth.
Sabre has escaped and on run but when she meets Jesse her running days are over. She know she should pack and keep running but something about Jesse stops her.
I love the story and the fact other ghostwalkers from Jesse's SEAL team get involved. Would love for 'Max' Logan Maxwell to find his paired women and then she kicks his ass.
One of the best series around. A MUST READ FOR ME.

Another great Ghost Walker story.

I love reading this series and watching the intrigue unfold. Jess & Saber are another wonderful couple.

I can hardly wait for the next book in this series.
