Saber and Jesse might be my favorite...or at least in close running to Jack and Briony. I enjoyed that for once it wasn't insta-love and that they were friends first.

Yay, we finally get Jess's story. I have been wanting his story since he was introduced and torchured in book two.

Saber was a fascinating Ghostwalker. Her abilities are very unique and deadly. Her past is heartbreaking, like most of the women in this series past. I really love how she has turned away from what Whitney made her and is trying to make a new life.

Overall, this book was filled with love, heartache, new revelations about Whitney, and a lot of action. Also it was a great HEA.

Predatory Game is book 6 in Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series. In this installment, Saber Wynter is fleeing from Dr. Peter Whitney and his sick experiments when she runs right into the arms ex-Navy SEAL and GhostWalker Jess Calhoun. As they live together, Saber and Jess discover each other's secrets, while staying a step ahead of the soldiers trying to reacquire them for Dr. Whitney's breeding program.

Predatory Game is paranormal romantic suspense at its best. The tension is tight throughout the story, and the action sequence at the end is (forgive the pun) explosive! The main characters, Jess and Saber, are well-developed and strong, and are some of the most deadly GhostWalkers I've seen. As always, Feehan brings back some of her "old reliable" characters from previous books - Lily and Ryland, Ken and Mari, and Logan - along with some new faces for future books.

An intriguing mixture of romance and science kept me reading and interested long after I put it down. As the doctor toys with his subjects from afar, the Whitney conspiracy is beginning to accelerate a bit, leaving the reader unsure of friends and foes. Predatory Game was a really satisfying read, and I was extremely happy with the outcome. Of all the GhostWalker books I've read, I have to say, Predatory Game is the most interesting. The storyline and characters captured me like no other book in the series has. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

I accidentally read this book not knowing it was #6 in the series. But that being said I fell easily into the GhostWalker world. Will eventually get around to reading the beginning of the series. Love Christine Feehan by the way. I've read so many books from her Dark series. and this one is great as well.

This is a wonderful continuation of the Game Series by Christine Feehan.

This is the story of Jesse Calhoun, a Ghostwalker, who was severly injured in the second book, Mind Games. He is a Navy SEAL who has had to leave the teams because he can no longer walk. Saber Wynter, a woman that Dr. Whitney Sr. had experimented on when she was child, moves into his life, neither realizes what the other is.

But there is a loose cannon out for Saber, someone that Dr. Whitney can't keep under control, he is very sexually interested in her and leaving a trail of hookers bodies as he watches her.

Did Dr. Whitney put them together to save them?? Or to see if his phermone enhancements had worked and get another child for the next generation? And will the two of them be able to overcome the distrust of the phermone enhancments to trust the feelings of love that have developed between them over the months that she has lived there? And will Jesse be able to use his legs again? Will the bonics that Dr. Whitney developed and that Jesse decided to use be made to work?

Wonderfully detailed and ploted out romance with just enough of everything else to make this story interesing. Loved it.
