Disappointing. I was looking forward to a satire on the British film industry of the 1930s (niche I know) but instead it was a tepid, Heller-esque, comedy (or farce). A lawyer writes a successful play and ends up hired by a film studio. He is all set to write lots of films but ends up writing nothing apart from a film that doesn't get made and gaining a credit for a film he didn't have anything to do with. Wolves are ordered and nobody knows who did it. The end.
