Fun story, delightful illustrations, but as the author herself admits, there's just not a lot of information on Fannie Farmer.

Would be of interest to anyone who loves cooking.

Sweet story with vintage looking illustrations. Cute. Then I read the author's note and realized I was supposed to be learning about the first person to make a cookbook. The book reads like fiction, but author's note implies it's non fiction. (Could be because it says not much is actually known about the real Fannie?) Regardless, I wish there was more information so it could be a cool non-fiction story... Or that it just was a nice fictional story. I don't know- something about it being a little of both left me wanting more, feeling like it's incomplete.
