It's been years since I last read a Grisham book, but after reading this one I'll definitely be looking for more. The leadup to the trial was frustratingly long at times, but it also felt realistic so I can forgive it for that. Compelling characters with strong convictions but sometimes questionable methods made this a very enjoyable read.

John Grisham is a masterful story teller. This story is tragic, compelling and hard to put down. Similar to the other books in this series that I read years ago.

I reallllly enjoyed the first three quarters of the book, but the ending was pretty unsatisfying and left a lot of loose ends.
Also, the whole baby thing screamed exploitation/a lack of ethics/general uncomfyness.
