Well written with a lot of details about the murders and the investigation into them. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because some of the writing seemed to be unnecessarily repetitive.

I think this case is interesting; it just wasn't that compelling of a book.

Many many theories presented here as to actually what happened after the original suspects were released from prison based on new evidence. I have my opinion as to which theory is most valid but that would require spoilers...

I cannot believe this case is still unsolved!?!?! I listened to the audio book and I had to rewind what I heard numerous times to make sure I heard what I thought I heard. There is a lot of information in this book, which makes it extra surprising that it is not solved.

I've been on a slight true crime kick lately ever since I started watching the YouTube series That Chapter if you haven't seen it yet I recommend it.
The is an unsolved murder that happened in a small town in texas. These poor girls were murdered but buy who. The detectives on the case were basically looking at everyone any one to try in figure out who could do this unthinkable thing.
If you set a fire you did it, if you robbed a store you did it and so on so.
They finally narrowed their sites on 4 boys who were kind of the punks of the town. All four pleaded with the cops they didn't do it were forced to make a false confessions even one of them had a gun to their head.
Years went by and when DNA testing was a thing none of the boys dna was there.
