A little hard to follow the audiobook version as the perspective shifted between characters and the timelines shifted to provide back story.

I liked the first story the best, probably because it was the most Julia Quinn. The other two were boring and the epilogue/wrap up was so meh. Not my favorite. 3/5

These authors are all great individually, but this book was an unstructured mess. It should have been three separate books; jamming all of these together did a disservice to the pacing of all of them. Disappointing.

I loved this collaboration and all 3 stories as well as Carolyn's relationship with her husband. It was sweet to listen to these almost separate stories that were each heartfelt and interesting. It was a lot of fun.

Lady Carolyn Finchley believes a house party will be the perfect way to find her horse-obsessed brother Hugh, the Earl of Briarly, a bride. Trouble is, other gentlemen keep falling in love with the women on her list of potential countesses. Hugh may just have to take matters into his own hands and convince the woman he secretly loves to take a chance on him despite her poor opinion of matrimony.

Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, and Connie Brockway do a splendid job of weaving together three novellas into one virtually seamless story. Each author focuses on a different romantic pair meeting and falling in love at the same house party, with transitions between told from the viewpoint of their hostess. I picked the book up because Quinn is one of my favorite authors, and I was delighted to discover that James and Brockway are similarly witty.

For readers' advisors: character and story doorways, with setting secondary (Regency England). A bit of swearing and some increasingly steamy sex scenes.

I think this one is a titch better than the newer one these three authors just put out, [b:The Lady Most Willing...: A Novel in Three Parts|13561603|The Lady Most Willing... A Novel in Three Parts|Julia Quinn|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1342835380s/13561603.jpg|19136478]. All three of the stories here are adorable and they seem to work together a bit better, although the couple from the first story all but disappear in the later ones.

Just what a light, fun and frothy historical romance should be.

Three love stories, but I was unprepared going in. The amount of characters was overwhelming at first but fun and sweet.
