I thought the plot of The Venue was such a good idea, but for me, the follow-through didn't quite hit the mark. I think the book would come across more coherently on the screen as opposed to the page. I found the characters to be inconsistent in their actions and particularly their dialogue, for example Amy speaking to Caleb could have been a completely different person to when she was speaking to other characters.

this was such a unique concept and i was gripped from the start. a film adaption of this would be incredible. for better or for worse, every scene played vividly in my head. it would of been a 5 star without that epilogue, and the quote about the sign at the end completely took me out of the story. it’s a funny quote though…

This is my second T.J Payne novel this year. I have also read Intercepts which I really enjoyed (rated 4*)
I absolutely loved this book. The plot is so unique, exciting and kinda messed up but in the best way. I haven't read anything with this kind of story line before. This plot would make a really cool movie.
Everything that happens in this story is so faced paced and suspenseful. It hooked me and I couldn't put this book down.
This book is kinda violent so if you aren't into that kinda thing, including some graphic portrayals of death and injuries, give this one a miss!

the whole premise of wanting revenge on all the people who wronged you is fucked up and pathetic lol. I hated the bride & groom for their whiney,pity party. High school sucks, get over it.This book is kinda violent so if you aren't into that kinda thing, including some graphic portrayals of death and injuries, give this one a miss!
