My recommended target group for this book
I would recommend this book to people that want to get into manga in general and have an interest in rather emotional stories with well balanced action scenes as a main element.

oh, I can feel the final showdown is coming now.

The volume continues with the flashback in volume 11 and gives us some more side character backgrounds. We also get to see Takatsuki again (I wonder if she will be revelant to the finale since she was introduced very late). And I do love all the Hinami moments we get.
Kaneki's emotional journey was a bit harder for me to parse - he has several talks with other people about his struggles and his goals but it feels like we've been here before.

A CCG conspiracy unfolds!
Not sure I like the developing relationship between Amon and Mado though.

Kind of a slow volume without much action… We do learn a bit more about the One-Eyed Owl which was kind of interesting.

Overall, not my favourite volume.

This volume feels like it is closer to the feel of the earlier volumes in the series. I'm happy about that but it also leaves me feeling like...what was the point of the last 4 volumes? Hopefully I get my answer in the last two volumes of the series and it all comes together with a bang.

“Plus we’re friends, right?”

This was the best one so far. We got more background information on Uta and and Yomo and the gang is going back to Anteiku!

I’m getting nervous and twitchy with how everything is progressing from here. I feel like I know so much and nothing at the same time with all these twists and turns. It’s so hard to put this series down and it progresses.
