Another absurd tale from Auster. This one matched the style of the first, in building a fine, furious, maddening climax out of a story that began to feel rhythmic. Phenomenal ending as I'm assuming could be considered typical of the author.

It's been a while since I read the first one. I remember it being a strange experience, but good enough to make me want to read the next on. I finally got around to it. This one was shorter, and just as odd. I recall the first one being rich in fodder for Literature essays, and this one feels much the same. Now that I'm just reading for pleasure I'm not sure the book really did much for me - it's the kind of thing one should probably sit down and think about properly to get the most out of it. Still, I'm intending to read the 3rd one next.

I loved whatever fever dream, paranoia induced story this was- couldn’t have finished it any quicker as the moment I started it I knew I’d have to finish it in the same sitting!! Such a captivating piece
