A really enjoyable thriller. It felt fresh and it was able to have some unexpected twists and turns without it feeling like they came out of left field.

I enjoyed that the characters all felt real for the most part. Flawed but still trying. I liked the mental battle of the husband as he was trying to decide whether to stay with his wife or his girlfriend. Still kinda a jerk move for just abandoning the girlfriend though lol.

The author seemed to know a lot about theater so he either did a good job researching it or has experience perhaps. Either way I believed it!

I did think the main couple seeming to have this weird fear of guns was kinda strange. It makes sense considering they're New York city folk and that the wife had staged it all so she didn't want real weapons involved... But I couldn't tell if it was the characters who were "anti gun" or if it was a thinly veiled opinion thrown in from the author.

The rocks all around the porch to remind the husband that she loved him was a cool touch. I think it's so funny they kept the blood stained rock next to their wedding photo

Super fast book. Great premise, but got a little wild for my taste. Easy summer thriller.
