I like the story, and while not everything feels super internally consistent where the magic is concerned I’m willing to forgive it. The thing that is consistently keeping this series down is that Paolini wants to tell me everything about everything instead of showing me. I’ve seen other authors capture in a few paragraphs what Paolini takes an entire chapter to describe.
