I disliked everything about this book. The main character, didn’t like her. The plot, didn’t like it. I made it to my mark of 100 pages before deciding not to finish but genuinely thought it was the most boring and annoying book I have ever attempted to read. The writing style was not for me and the FMC was the most annoying character I have ever encountered within a book.

absolutely adored the writing. it was so beautiful yet horrific. however, i didnt like the whole “you’re probably wondering how i got here” kinda thing … LOL? does that make sense… i feel like it kinda ruined the creepy factor since i felt like i was reading a sitcom.. i did love the friendship theme in the book and i thought that ending was very sweet <3

An interesting story drawn out by pages of filler written as if the author was telling the story to a group of primary school children - I know how to eat a prawn, but thanks. And who can ignore this single line, placed just as the narrator is begging to be faced with the consequences of their actions: “Haters gonna hate, predators are going to predate”.

3.5 stars. A true character study and wonderfully written, but sometimes homie needs a lil plot.

"I learned that being female is as prefab, thoughtless, soulless, and abjectly capitalist as a Big Mac. It’s not important that it’s real. It’s only important that it’s tasty."
