Lisa Jewell takes the reader on an mysterious ride where she flashes between past and present events. A young mother and her boyfriend go missing with no tracks or accounts of where they went. While the woman’s mother, Kim goes on the hunt for her. This book took me a while to get into it, but once it got to about the halfway point I could not put it down. I was so curious about what was going on and what was going to happen next. It definitely gave me anxiety and made me feel sad for some of the characters.

A really good thriller, really fast paced.
I wasn’t able to work out what was going on, and I like when a thriller is not predictable.
It would have been 5 stars, only there were a couple of spelling/grammar errors which always throws me off, and I found the ending actually a little bit bizarre.
Satisfactory ending? Kinda.
