Its not bad. But the entire main plot revolves around severe bullying, and it really shouldve been a sub plot in a fantasy story.

I read it in a couple of days and now looking back I can't really recall what made it particularly distinctive from the other books in the series. I liked it well enough to continue reading, but I can't say much else in its favour.

I was so enthralled with the story of Sonea that I read this one very quickly. I cringed at her suffering from bullies, and was very glad when her circumstances changed. I highly recommend this series!
