Truly a campy romance novel, the plot was what was to be expected. This book didn't particularly stand out, though where it did stand out was from sub-par writing and errors. There were times where she referred to Bella's hair as gold instead of red or there were random quotation marks at the end of a descriptive paragraph where no one was speaking.
I can appreciate the story for what it is, trashy romance but it was not a "good" book by any stretch of the imagination.

Cute historical romance novel. Periodically, I like to read something lighter than the urban fantasy stuff I typically read. This satisfied my interest to read something cute and sweet.
