È stata la labirintite a darmi il colpo di grazia mentre leggevo il monologo del principe Saurau, o il monologo del principe Saurau a darmi il colpo di grazia facendomi venire la labirintite? Credo non lo sapremo mai, sicuramente ero molto "perturbata". 5 stelle prima del monologo e 3 stelle dopo (forse leggerlo in un periodo di agitazione interiore propria non è stata una buona idea).

Brilliant. Recommend browsing through Pascal’s Pensées as companion. Also, Cioran’s ‘Trouble With Being Born’

Feels like Bernhard was inspired by Cioran when writing this one.

Austria. A rare bad recommendation from Sean, although it did fulfill the country. The first half was ok, but the second was just one huge long run-on sentence and it was a slog to get through.

İki öyküden oluşuyor, ilk bölüm olay örgüleriyle ikinci bölüm ise monologlar ile bezelenmiş. Bazı cümlelerini dönüp tekrar okutup düşündürttü her zamanki gibi Bernhard. Onun külliyatına giderek alışmak hoş bir duygu ve o külliyattan bir yaprak daha koparttım yine bu vesile ile.
