I really enjoyed this. I wish I hadn't left it so long in-between. Still loving a demigod. Ooh I want to see and hear more about the Kraken.
Will definitely be sourcing the rest of the series; interested to see where it goes. 
Recommend this????? Yes I would, to someone who wants to dabble in light magical fantasy.

I loved this book but I will say I'm a bit upset the author merged their magic. Everything that made them individuals and power that they had to lean on each other to use just seemed to wash away with that one scene. I just don't like that codependent thing she's leading to for them. Plus I feel like the relationship is tilted way in K's favor. Lexi still barely knows anything about him and he has all the power and knows all of her secrets. The next book better fix that or I think the relationship is going to start floundering for me. otherwise I thought it was a fantastic book

Bria, a necromancer with a penchant for getting Alexis into trouble, is brought in to train Alexis. Storylines advanced include the search for Kieran's mother's selkie skin, the trapped souls, and the love story between Alexis and Kieran. Daisy, Mordecai and the Six are entertaining.
