I read this book back in March and I am just getting to the review due to my children being at home during the shutdown of schools.

I love this series. It is a favorite of my. I can't wait to read the next book. I love the suspense who did it, will that person be caught, how is winter handling everything she has been through and so much more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

FBI Agent Winter Black helped stop the serial killer, The Preacher in the last book.  This brings a great deal of uncertainty for Winter.  She is back to work and must mend fences and regain trust of those she used in the previous book.  Now the FBI is hunting for a killer who is a skilled surgeon.  Winter's friend Autumn may be in the crosshairs.  This entry in the series moved a break neck speed.  I read the book in one day and really enjoyed it.  In addition to the main storyline, we know that Winter's brother, Justin, may still be alive.  This creates another stressor for Winter.  She has to decide what kind of person she wants to be, what kind of friend and what kind of FBI agent.  If you enjoy books where characters struggle and develop, you will enjoy this book.

Good book, but so so ending

Another good one from the Winter Black book series. I love the characters and story, but I was disappointed in the ending. After so much build up, I just felt letdown at the end. Maybe the next book will explain some more of what I feel is missing.

I've enjoyed the Winter Black series so far, but this is marred by her past exploits, relationships, etc being repeated in every book so that you don't miss out if you haven't read the series so far. By book 4 it is seriously annoying.
