A good mystery series, I like Alice and her growing friendship with Burns. The mystery is a good one, taking you down a path and then veering off elsewhere. The cases in this series always seem to be a bit disturbing, but that makes the solving of them (and catching the bad guy) all that much better.

Enjoyable third book in series. I did however work out who was the abductor/murderer before the end of the book

I jumped into the middle of this series to complete a task for a reading challenge - read a book with one of the four seasons in the title - but I had no trouble following along with the characters and catching up on their backstories/what appeared to have happened in the two previous books.

This was an exciting, fast-paced book -- I couldn't read it quickly enough. I wanted to find out more about psychologist Alice Quentin and her work at a high-security hospital and more about the "foundling" girls and who was taking them. I would be interested in reading more books by this author.

It’s a little bit over the top and some of the characters (the main character especially) is portrayed as two people one who’s really really fragile in the mind that I wonder why she’s doing what she’s doing and one who is a bit umm... psychotic. I also just don’t find her relationship with guys believable and there are just soo many annoying things about this book. And yet it’s readable... I am trying to figure out why?
