Let's get this out of the way, there's more than a little Jason Bourne type action going on here. Let's call it a quality hommage. The thing that makes it good is that the main character is really good, but not perfect. The story is exciting and makes one want to see what happens next. I look forward to the series continuing. Worth the read.

Really enjoyed this. Good example of writing that doesn't have a lot of unnecessary junk.

Good read, fast paced action.

If you liked Gray Man you'll like this.

What an action-packed thrill! Evan Smoak is Orphan X, a highly skilled graduate of a top-secret program that grooms preteens into lethal assets for the government. Once the program is disbanded, Evan becomes the Nowhere Man, a general do-gooder who relies on the recipients of his help to pay it forward by finding him new people to help. After he's been doing this a while, he realizes someone is hunting him.

Loved Evan's character, who is hardened on the outside, but shows glimpses of a heart deep within. Great descriptions of weapons, fight scenes, and technology. Lots of twists and turns, and I could hardly put it down.

Apparently the author is writing a screenplay for a movie about Evan played by Bradley Cooper. I'll definitely be seeing this one.
