I wish I could retain a modest percentage of this book but alas I cannot. It was a fascinating perspective to see why the world may have ended up the way it is through the lens of geographical constraints. However, I found it a bit too aggressive in its pro-Americanness like truly the language made me cringe a bit. I also absolutely have to believe that I would have gotten a lot more out of this if my sense of geography existed but alas it is quite rudimentary.
