I really enjoyed this one. I wanted to love it, and I did love Gannon and Paige, but the OW (other woman) drama is a pet peeve for me. And am I the only one to notice that Gannon never, not once, told anyone else that Meeghan wasn’t his girlfriend in front of Paige? He only said it when they were alone together, and Meeghan was still telling the world they were together, so no wonder Paige worried. (Mild spoiler but not really: no cheating in this book)
I read the second book in the series first, and it didn’t ruin anything for me. Both are good as standalones, too.

Moderate: Infidelity and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Cancer and Toxic relationship

This book was pretty cute, although I found that even though their relationship did take some time to progress, we didn’t actually see a lot of the buildup before they got together. Gannon was pretty sweet but not one of my favourite mmcs. I liked that he was protective and supportive of her. Paige was ok, again I liked her but didn’t love her. The ending was cute but I really don’t know how Paige didn’t see it coming because it seemed so obvious. Sweet story, but nothing mind-blowing or super emotional for me. I just wish there had been a little more of the tension and buildup before they got together.
