It's the sequel to "The five people you meet in heaven". The main character has a lot of challenges in her life and after death a lot of it is explained with the other person's perspective. It has a beautiful twist ending and the story is really beautifully told.

Short but powerful book that follows Annie, the girl Eddie saved in the first book. It was heartbreaking at times and altogether bittersweet as we learned with Annie what “mistakes” mean and how we are connected to others and across lifespans. Bad note: I am now afraid of hot air balloons.

i SOBBED. absolutely stunning! i love mitch albom and the five people you meet in heaven is one of my favorite books. this book is so emotional and helped me process a lot of grief i’d been tucking in a drawer to deal with later. absolutely amazing.
