The plot was phenomenal! The only thing I didn’t love was

the ending because it was too similar to the ending of the first book.

I feel bad but I liked the first book a lot more. The writing just seemed more fluid and it was easier to follow. This one I struggled to finish a bit.

The writing is really rough and kind of hard to get past at times, but I really like the storyline and the characters. It seems like in the first book there was a distinct difference between their bonds talking to them and their Gifts, and now it’s kind of muddled into one thing. Overall a fun read but I found myself re-writing things in my head a lot.
