If I had to describe this book in one word it would be outrageous. Although I’ve had the big reveal spoiled for me for years, it still came so out of left field that I wish I would’ve been able to have a genuine reaction while reading lol. Although this one was entertaining, the series has lost its luster in my eyes - I can’t help but thinking “less is more” as I continue to read on. I think Shepard becomes so focused on creating jaw-dropping moments that the story itself becomes way too unrealistic (even for a far-fetched popcorn read like Pretty Little Liars).
