I’m giving this a 3 star and that is being EXTREMELY generous. I serious do not get the hype around this series?? Like how is everyone giving this book 5 stars? I must have read a completely different book.
Me reading the “then”: oml this is so good, I’d give this 4 stars I actually understand the hype
Me reading the “now” part: what the actual hell this is awful, I would literally rather drink bleach, I’d give this 1 star
So I’m going in the middle and giving it 2.5 (rounded up to 3). I’m so disappointed. The beginning was so good and then it just went rapidly downhill.

This book has broken my heart and left it lying on the floor MULTIPLE times. I was sobbing. Cecilia's emotions are so raw and her heart so big. To feel such love and to feel it so vividly...wow.

This book has broken my soul. I’m in Spain without the S. emotionally and physically in pain. I’m sobbing in a ball right now. I’ve read so many books in my time but THIS one will stay with me. This has embedded itself in my soul.
I thought book one was epic. But it pales in comparison to the book. I don’t want to give anything away. But it gripped me. It’s got a hold on me and won’t let me go. Im going to have to take a few days to grieve I think from the emotional damage this book has brought me. If I could give it 10
