It's a bit of a slog at times, just because it's straight fact and depressing ones at that. Super informative though, but not anything huge I didn't already know. I thought there would be more on the psychological issues regarding consumerism and how stopping consumption affects one mentally, but maybe that's just not the point of this book. Still interesting, but overwhelming and sad.

At first I felt it was a little too slow.. πand not really what I thought it would be.. BUT THEN.. π I got into the pace of it, and I was excited by all the stories and facts and ended up being more inspired than Iβve been in a really long time. π«
Even so much so that Iβve decided to make major changes in my own business.
Amazing what a book can do! ππ»
For me, page 267 was a moment π«Ά.
I might even get a tattoo with the page number π

I thought this book was quite disjointed at times but all the examples are a tale in what life could be like if the world stopped shopping, many of which I found very interesting.
