This book was such a cute, easy, quick read. Friends to lovers tropes are always a joy to read and the little bit of spice was a bonus I wasn’t anticipating! It wasn’t a story that particularly resonated with me as the self-proclaimed queen of friends to lovers but I did enjoy it.

hurricane hazel ??? *BARFS*
not hazel playing the long game under the guise of platonic friendship.. not to mention the accidental pregnancy trope jumping out of nowhere. just yikesss
this was my least favorite Christina Lauren book that I have read. when josh said that hazel was annoying? i literally cheered.
in hindsight the very first paragraph in the prologue should’ve been the cue for me to turn away — “In summary, I am superb at making an ass out of myself.” bc she was right, and i was wrong in trusting the process. it’s hours of my life i can’t take back all bc i refuse to DNF (bc momma raised no quitter, sadly). this was not for me.
