A lovely personable memoir about culture, love and grief.

I thought this book was enjoyable, but a bit on the uneventful side. It did show a wonderful side of coping the loss of someone close. A good lesson of how to mourn productively, to move on while keeping the memory of that person alive. For that reason alone the book was wonderful.

A beautifully written memoir about love, family, food, and grief. Be prepared to cry a lot at certain parts!
