Nemůžu říct, jestli se mi to líbilo nebo ne. Není to nijak špatná kniha, ale... princ Nicholas je prostě takový ten hrdina, který na první pohled vypadá perfektně, ale je to vlastně sobecký kretén.

What can I say? Fifteen minutes after finishing reading this book, I'm still smiling.
Love stories just make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Hopeful and optimistic.
And when they are accompanied by a cover like the one this book has? Perfect package! That boy is seriously hot. I may have to find me an imaginary prince of my own ;)
I loved both MC's and all the secondary characters too (
SpoilerI particularly wish something would have happened between Ellie and Henry, if only for them to realise that they'd be better off as BFF's. Is it weird that I want them to be the partners-in-crime type BFFs?
)
Anyway, the only weak aspects IMO were
Spoilerhow utterly predictable it was that Lucy had been the one to leak the miscarriage thing. And also, how quickly Olivia forgave Nicholas after how distrustful he was towards her, plus all the horrible things he said. If it'd been me I would have been seriously heartbroken, but above all, unbelievably pissed. I don't think I would have been so quick to forgive him. Men have to grovel a little when they screw up that badly
.
Also, I would love an alternate ending
Spoilerin which Olivia finds out she's pregnant after leaving Nicholas. What if he had already announced his engagement to someone else by the time Logan or Tommy realised about the pregnancy and told Nicholas? What if she swore them to secrecy and Nicholas found out after she'd given birth? What if he had already gotten married? OMG Wouldn't that have been awesome!?

Still, an amazing book. Definitely worth a read! I'm looking forward to the next ones in this series.

I definitely recommend Royally Screwed if you liked Twisted Games by Ana Huang. Or any Hallmark movie that involves royalty. This is playful, witty, sweet, a PG-13 version of a chessy tv movie about a prince who falls in love with a commoner. Honestly, the most perfect match up. (And there’s a mention of Genovia. Even though it was quick, without any mention of Queen Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo.) Of course there’s instalove, but Olivia’s protective nature over Prince Nicholas was even faster! The best foreplay if you ask me. Also, the fact that he didn’t have to kiss the Archbishop’s ring because he out ranks him- why did I find that so attractive? With how beautifully open Liv and Nicholas were with each other, I felt like I had to sign my own NDA! Liv never cared about his crown, never cared that he had power and rank. Olivia was mature, respectful, and courageous in ways other authors would have never allowed. In any other book, she would have ran for the hills, been a coward and disrespectful to herself and Nicholas. This woman had courage in ways I wish I did. The ending though...there were quick, easy, simple fixes. Forgiveness. Liv had more fight than that. She did all along. I just wish that never faltered.

My Favorite Quotes:
•”Unless you have the urge to do it naked, then, by all means, curtsy away.”
•”I enjoy eating pretty things.”
•’She opens her eyes-and it feels like she’s ripping my heart out-taking it for her own.’
•”Move, Nicholas. I want to feel you. All of you. Now.”
•”She looks like a queen.”

7/10 Dirdy Birdy
7/10 Instalove
8/10 She’s Mine

nothing short of amazing !!

easily a five star read !!
a Prince who is extremely swoon worthy !! & a poor girl with her own heart who wins the heart of said Prince !!
Prince Nicholas is royal heir to the throne of Wessco , scheduled in 6 months to announce the woman he is set to marry to become his Queen .. and the story begins !! talk about a modern day fairytale !! I loved this book so much I never stopped reading it ! the book pulls you in from the start , and the chemistry between the two main characters is really great !! HOTT !! , even !! This was my first read by Emma Chase but I'll certainly be reading Royally Matched and Royally Endowed !!

Olivia is a hard working no nonsense type of person. She is the glue that is keeping her family together. Prince Nicholas is heir apparent to the throne. The two collide when he comes to the best city ever (New York) and they get off on a rocky start but eventually they hit it off. I loved these two characters together. Even though they are both different social status wise, they both have a lot of pressure that comes from being the oldest. Olivia has been keeping the family's shop going after the mom dies and the father checks out emotionally. Nicholas is next in line for the throne and has a lot on his plate plus a younger brother who loves to misbehave.

“Some people go their whole lives without feeling that. We’ll get to have it for four months.”

“I love you, Olivia. I love you. And I don’t know how to do this. I don’t know how to let you go.”

Olivia and Nicholas are on borrowed time together and decide to enjoy the time they have with each other. I loved the interaction with these two! There was a lot of sexy, flirty and silly banter between the both of them. They each brought out different sides of each other and that was nice as well. But everything that glitters isn't always gold. A lot of people are rooting against them and they have an uphill battle to face!

"A woman’s weapons of mass destruction are indifference and confusion.”

I have to take the time to say how much I LOVED Franny!! Franny is married to Simon who is Nicholas's best friend. The way she took to Olivia and helped her out was endearing. She was sassy, fouled mouth and gave it to you straight, no chaser! I really hope we get to see more of her as the series goes on or maybe even a novella!

"Because I didn’t have you there with me. I love you, Olivia. I don’t need a kingdom—if you’re beside me, I already have the whole world.”

*Sighs*

If you're looking for a book that makes you smile and feel all giddy like a school girl, look no further. I loved everything about this book, the writing, the plot just everything. It had the perfect amount of romance, sex, funny times, and heart filled moments as well. Nothing was over the top which I really appreciated. The secondary characters were awesome and I felt like I was one of the bunch. This book left me with a huge smile on my face after reading. This was a fantastic start to a wonderful new series and I can't wait to get royally swept up again and again!!
