I enjoyed this book - learnt a lot about Guatemala and the 50s and it shed light on what we all know instinctively (certain countries do like to meddle unnecessarily, for the detriment of others and with no accountability!).

It was written in Llosa's famous prose, full of flare and personality, with never a boring moment.

A true fan of his writing.
