I was going to give this one 3 stars for being quite meh with some nice ingredients but after thinking about it more, it's not really worth it. I wanted to like the book much more than I actually liked it.

There's a lot of things that could have made this one interesting but it feels like everything is just barely scratched, some things just happen, and then it ends. The cast is diverse but their issues are also like mentioned once in passing and nothing is explored. Not every topic could have been in one graphic novel but please, at least some of them.

I really enjoyed this comic. Cryptids and romance/slice of life work perfectly together in my opinion. My only issue with this that the story felt like it had some gaps in it. Over all, the art and layout is beautiful and very inspiring as someone who wants to create their own comic one day. I hope to read more works by them in the future!!
