The story is cute, although it is very light in the romance department. I wish there had been more romantic development between the two love interests, and the third act breakup was pitiful. And the characters are pretty funny, I did genuinely enjoy most of them.
But my biggest (and only, really) complaint is with the main character. She was so frustrating, and she never grows or learns throughout the entire story. She is so hung up on signs from the universe, and constantly checking her horoscope, she refuses to make a decision for herself. One of the characters even calls her out for this, so I thought it was strange that she never outgrew that. The plot even validates her perspective by putting the love interest right in her face, just as the psychic says she'll meet them. And it's really tough to enjoy a romance when you dislike the protagonist.

A rom-com about a woman who will do anything to get with the guy of her dreams. It was a bit unrealistic and I found the main character to be a bit irritating at times with the decisions that she made.

Cute idea. It was a little slow but cute characters. The conflict with the mother friend was pretty relatable.
My hangup: I felt like the way it was resolved with the other dude was not satisfactory. Like he was basically used. She could have talked to him and apologized or something. Maybe even Ash could have gone. Or heard he didn't show up. Or he could have met someone else there. Idk it isn't that we don't know, it is that it really wasn't fair to the poor guy that I didn't like it. Like the characters just didn't care which to me is a bit selfish.
Oh also, why was the GPS in miles?
