Very poetically written, however the actual meat of the story didn't really click for me.
I felt the themes and narrative were very disjointed and the books was more concerned with symbolic items and gestures than real human connection.
The strongest part of the book was the university section and the complex romance between Miranda and Ore. This part of the book felt most like it had something to say and reflect on- namely the difficulty of becoming attached to someone self destructive.
Passages of the book are amazing as poetetry, but the book at large failed to connect.

Yeah I’m sorry I’m not wasting my time with this one. The contents of the book are VERY different then what the blurb and title promise. Not what I signed up for

This was a disappointing read for me. I did not enjoy the story. I thought that the writing style was confusing, and I really could follow who was telling the story. As for the characters, I actually did like Miri, and Eliot. I also really liked Ore. I think the story was just really hard to follow along, so it was difficult for me to rate anything higher than a 2. I wish there was more of a story and character building. With what the book is, I found it disappointing. Overall, a meh read.
