I am a total sucker for a mouthy FMC and Indy has that in spades. She was sassy, smart-mouthed, hilarious and took no crap from anyone and I loved that about her. I also loved that Lee knew exactly how to handle her and what she needed even if she didn't know it yet. This was a great start to this series and I'm really excited for the rest of it.

I have never heard of this prolific author until our Bookclub picked it. Seeing so many 5 stars, I was excited for it.
Unfortunately, this just was okay for me. There was a lot going on and Indy seemed to be taking unnecessary risks. The love the banter and connection she had with Lee. Lee is the true alpha male and these characters reminded me a little of Stephanie Plum's series.
This book is a lot of fun and I am not sure I will continue the series.

This was amazing! I loved every minute of it! it was the perfect blend of comedy and romance, but it also had some drama. The story is the love story of Rock Chick and a cop's daughter, India "Indy" Savage, and her love interest and best friend's older brother, Liam "Lee" Nightingale. They made this book for me. They had amazing chemistry together. However, it is their individual qualities that made them stand out.
Indy is amazingly strong and witty. She is fierce, funny, and smart. She has loved one man her entirely life. However, she tries to not admit how she feels for him after they finally meet after some time. The man she loves has loved her too. However, he wanted to become something better so he can provide and take care of her.
The man she loves is Lee. He is not your typical hero. He is a total badass. He is protective, smart, and sexy as hell. He is a PI and he gets a lot of money. He gets very jealous when Indy talks to other guys, because she is his girl. I absolutely love how Kristen Ashley made the heroine so funny and relatable. Overall, a fantastic read. Definitely an all-time favourite of mine.
