Honestly if you just let it be wild and dramatic it’s fun. Definitely hard to follow, especially all the husbands, but I admire this woman in some ways. Original girl boss novel.

Not my cup of tea. The plea regarding the situation of women in the 17th century is clear to me. I know endeavour whether Defoe could be a feminist… Wish me luck

This was such a tedious, daunting read. Thought it would never end.

I appreciate its importance in the development of the novel as we know it, but the reading experience of this was tedious and dull.

Absolutely wonderful! I was completely riveted from beginning to end. I wish it had been longer. :-)
