I like the way the writer describes the mountains, wildlife and weather. Felt like I was right there. The ending was just okay it did not keep me at the edge of my seat. All in all it was a good read.

Another excellent installment in the Joe Pickett series. And all my favorite characters showed up!

This is my third C. J. Box novel, and probably my last. I don't know why I keep trying to like this series. It's the same boring formula over and over. It wasn't DNF bad, but I still couldn't wait to finish the book solely so I could move onto another book.
