Eh not for me. But happy to see the next iteration of Ironman. I loved the diversity and cool characters. Also happy to see Miles.

Pretty great in both establishing Riri and her Chicago setting. Ewing is very adapt at comic book writing.

Gah, I finished this awhile ago and apparently forgot to review. Such a good introduction to Riri Williams.

The plot itself is just so-so, but the writing is good and I like Riri's character. I especially liked the way the story approached PTSD and seeking help. As this was my first introduction to Ironheart, I think this volume could have used a little bit more background. For example, since Riri has a lab at MIT, I assumed she was college-aged-ish, or at least around 18 years old. Come to find out from the internet, she's supposed to be fifteen. Seems like an important fact to include.
Also, the last issue in this volume has Kamala Khan and Miles Morales cameos that I wasn't expecting!
